The Village of Rosedale Apartments

Given the sites proximity to the Historic Rosedale House and the rich history of the Sugar Creek area, this 18-acre mixed-use, mixed-income development was named The Village of Rosedale Apartments at Sugar Creek.

Neighborhood Overview

The apartments were constructed in two phases for a total of 106 apartment units, a leasing office/community room and a playground. The 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms apartments range from 880 to 1,100 sq. ft.

 

The second phase was done in partnership with Hope Haven Inc., a substance-abuse rehabilitation center that is adjacent to Rosedale. The Housing Partnership gives priority to Hope Haven clients that have completed its program. This “next step” housing has expanded Hope Haven’s ability to provide service to new clients and give their graduating clients increased stability.

 

The remaining 12 acres of the site were sold to a local developer, who plans to build 80+ single-family homes. These homes will be affordably priced for first-time homebuyers.

**Update about COVID-19**

Our thoughts are with everyone as we navigate a new normal surrounding COVID-19. We continue monitoring the situation and following the recommendations and guidelines of the CDC, with our main concern being the health and well-being of our customers, employees and partners.  We are working to ensure that we provide uninterrupted service, while also supporting the safety of the community.

To limit potential exposure, we’ve closed our senior apartment buildings to visitors (except for essential medical and food services) and have other protocols in place including closing common areas and ramping up cleaning efforts to support the well-being of our senior residents as much as possible. We’ve implemented many of the same safety measures across our multi-family apartment communities as well. We’ve also communicated with our homebuyer and financial literacy customers about new opportunities to fulfill courses through a virtual learning option and telephone counseling sessions instead of in-person classes and sessions through the end of March. Our goal is to work with our customers’ schedules to make these accommodations.
