Bill Ahern is a Vice President with the Charlotte Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He is currently responsible for Cash Services and Operations throughout the Fifth District of the Federal Reserve System which includes Maryland, West Virginia, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Prior to moving to Charlotte in 2003 to assume his present responsibilities, Bill worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Baltimore with management responsibilities over Check Services, Information Technology, Facilities, Bank Security, Accounting, and Fiscal Agency Services. Since moving to Charlotte, Bill has served on the Board of the Union County Habitat for Humanity and is a graduate of the 2004 Charlotte Chamber Leadership Class and the United Way's 2004 Leading the Way Leadership Program. While in Baltimore, Bill served on the Board of the National Academy Foundation's Academy of Finance and is a graduate of the 2002 Greater Baltimore Leadership Program. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, Bill earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) |
